Embroidery/Diamond Club

This class is for all Embroidery machines, but if you own a Diamond there are some techniques that you can apply to your machine. It is a cute design from Collection #277EmbroideryClub277_med , with a “3-D” element design to it.

Serger Owner’s Class One

This class is an introduction to your serger. Learn the basic features of your machine including how to thread your machine and overlock. Coverstitch will be included in Owners Class Two. Please bring your machine, accessories, machine owner’s manual, and serger thread.

Christmas JOY Wallhanging

This wall hanging can be made using regular machine applique, or embroidery applique–your choice.  This class will most likely be a little longer than our usual classes, so make sure to bring a beverage and snacks, if you feel it will be necessary.  You can view the project on the singersewingco.com website under Projects and Designs tab.  We will be making some adaptations to the project, but the result will be just a festive!!  As a result of the changes, however, you will not need all of the supplies listed, please call and double check the supply list if you are attending.

Placemat Class

Let’s make some new placemats.  You can make them for the Christmas holidays, the autumn season, or to coordinate with your kitchen décor.  In this class we will use the new!Double-sided Fusible Placemat Forms.  They make it so easy to have consistent size and shape in every placemat!!!

SINGER® Design and Sew like Isabelle™, Girl of the Year® Sewing Class

Help your young designer express her own genuine style! Join us for a special sewing class inspired by American Girl’s 2014 Girl of the Year®, Isabelle™. Enjoy this special class where you’ll both learn how to make a cute fabric bracelet and how to use your sewing machine to creatively embellish items you may have at home. An adult is required for this class. Bring your fashionable young designer (8+) and her doll too! $25 per class.  A parent must accompany their young designer to this class.

This would be a great opportunity if you do not have an embroidery machine to try out one of our beautiful new machines! The pattern includes embroidery designs for the center of the off-set squares. The samples in the store are for Christmas (“Christmas in July”) but there are designs for “all seasons”.

The cost of the two classes is just $30, plus pattern and supplies. Supply list and instruction for preparing fabric will be provided when class is paid for. Space is limited, so sign up early. Second classes will be in July.

6D Stitch Editor Plus

This class is for the 6D Premier owner as well as 6D Embroidery or 6D Embroidery Extra owners that have purchased the Stitch Editor Plus.

If you do not yet own 6D Software but would like to observe, you are welcome to do so!

You will need to bring your laptop with your 6D software installed and 6D dongle unless you are just observing!

Embroidery On T-Shirts

In this class, you will learn to embroidery on a t-shirt using an embroidery design from your machine !

Please bring your embroidery machine, embroidery unit, hoops, foot pedal, cord, thread and accessories!

You will also need an adult size prewashed t-shirt!

Quilt Pillow Introducing the quilted pillow case!  This class is designed to teach the paper back quilting technique and bring more creativity to your sewing projects.  We will be exploring cutting, piecing, and creative design.

5D Extra Intermediate Class

The final block of our series of 6″ X 6″ quilt blocks will be Elegant Applique.  This will give us enough blocks for a small wall hanging.

We will also use some of our Software samples of sea life to make a pillow in a monochrome color scheme.  It makes a very attractive home decor item.

The Organizer module will be featured this month.  Learn how to make a catalog of your designs, how to unzip multiple  files at one time, add the Trim features to designs to cut and tie off threads, organize designs by name, date and even a change a design into a picture or convert 1 sewing format into a different format.
