In this class you will learn how easy it is to embroider on your Viking embroidery/sewing machine.

We will show you different stabilizers and tell you their uses.  You will also learn proper hooping and set-up.

We will supply the fabric and some of the decorative thread.

Please bring your machine, embroidery unit, USB stick.

Power cord, three different colors of embroidery threads, tear away stabilizer, bobbin thread.

Pieced Serger Table Runner- 6/22

This class is designed to get you serging! We will be creating a beautiful table runner using only a serger.*

  • One 9 1/2″ square of 100% cotton fabric (Color A)

  • 17″ x 45″ Warm & Natural batting
  • 1/2 yard of backing fabric
  • 505 temporary adhesive spray
  • One spool of decorative thread (Sulky 12 wt cotton)
  • 2 cones of serger thread to coordinate with decorative thread

Class 4: Husqvarna Viking Intro to Embroidery: 6/2/14 2:30 PM – 4:00 PM

Class 4: Husqvarna Viking Intro to Embroidery
Pre Registration is Required. Limit 4 Students Per Class.

Prerequisite: Level 1 Husqvarna Viking Sewing Machines. You will need to know how to wind your bobbin, thread your machine, change needles and change presser feet on your machine.

In this class we will review bobbin filament/threading, set up for embroidery, stabilizers, embroidery sampler and placement, hooping fabric, selecting hoop size, selecting a design, flipping an embroidery design, reading information on the screen, positioning a design in the hoop, basting in hoop, embroidering an applique design, lettering, and saving designs.

Please bring your machine, all accessories, power cord, foot control, machine user’s guide, embroidery sampler booklet, USB stick, bobbin filament, and embroidery thread.

New Owners Class Four- 6/23

During this Connectivity  and Advanced Embroidery class, you will learn how to customize designs and how to interface you machine with your computer. You can then transfer designs to and from your computer directly to your embroidery machine! Please bring your machine, embroidery unit, all accessories, your laptop with the complementary connectivity downloaded to it.

This class is designed for you to work on a project that you want to do. You will need to let us know in advance as to what you want to make, this way we have time to prepare. Please understand, there may be projects that we will not be able to help you with. We will do our best.
